Celebrating Life...
For months, I rowed against the current.
There were days when I believed that if I rowed harder, the river would eventually give way.
As if life could be persuaded by persistence.
As if destiny would change course simply because I refused to stop.
Today, I understand that the river was never against me.
It was simply a river.

And I was simply someone learning that not everything needs to be conquered. There are moments when the greatest courage lies not in fighting, but in letting go of the oars and allowing the water to show us the way.
I feel light.
Not because everything has been resolved, but because I have stopped demanding answers. I no longer search for hidden signs or try to control what was never mine to control. Serenity arrived quietly, without fanfare, and at last found room within me.
Today, I accept.
I accept what was. What wasn't. And what may still come to be. I accept the imperfections of each day, life's unexpected turns, reunions and farewells. I accept myself too, with all my changing tides.
There is immense freedom in no longer resisting.
It is a quiet freedom, without euphoria, without the need to prove anything to anyone. Simply the peace of understanding that living is not about winning every battle. It is about learning to walk alongside them without losing your tenderness.
Today, I celebrate life.
Not a perfect life, but this one.
The only one there is.
With its scars, its quiet miracles, its days of sunshine and its storms.
I celebrate the simple privilege of breathing, of feeling, of carrying on.
And, for the first time in a long time, I feel that the river is no longer carrying me away.
It is holding me.
