Some dates have a way of lingering in our memory, returning year after year like quiet reminders.

The 7th of December is one of those days…
a marker of journeys, choices and chapters that shift the course of a life.
On a 7th of December long ago, someone set out to reconnect with their roots, to search for a sense of belonging that had been missing.
A departure that left an empty space behind,
teaching early lessons about distance, time and the stories people chase.
Years later, the same date became a day of union a reminder that new beginnings often rise from old footprints.
And then, on another 7th of December, came the moment when long held words finally found their way into the open: “It’s over.”
A sentence that carried the weight of years, the courage to end what could no longer continue in silence and the strength to step into a life that demanded visibility and truth.
From that point on, nothing looked quite the same.
Change rarely arrives softly, yet it has a way of clearing paths we didn’t know we needed.
The light at the end of the tunnel is still out of sight,
but the journey continues… slowly, steadily.
And if there is one word to hold onto along the way, it is HOPE: small, steady and always enough to take the next step.
