Behave Yourself

“Behaving well” is what they tell you when they want a dog to sit by the door without barking.
“Behaving well” is the death sentence of the soul, signed with a fake smile and a tie that’s too tight.
“Behaving well” is the shortest way to turn yourself into a robot, with an off switch that any idiot can press.

Life is a miserable party and all they ask is that you don’t dance, that you don’t get the floor dirty. You didn’t drink, you didn’t talk loudly, you didn’t dance, you didn’t jump, you didn’t speak your mind - congratulations: you’re a ghost in a room full of dead people.
The world loves good behaviour. The world is afraid of those who break locks, those who shout with their mouths full. “Behaving well” is for those who have never wanted to jump over a wall, for those who think that silence is a trophy - not a poison.
But I like the intense ones. The ones who can’t fit into their bodies, who breathe as if they were saving a life. Intense doesn’t behave well; intense sets the world on fire while the others sit around waiting for the fire to die down.
Don’t behave well.
Behave like someone who still feels something.#pedrochagasfreitas - A raridade das coisas banais
